"Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Sounds of Swing will play at this dance for singles and couples of all ages on Saturday, March 10, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. A free dance lesson will be given beginning at 6:30pm for anyone interested in brushing up on their skills or learning some new moves!
Jim Burge and company are bringing the swinging sounds once again to the CCC stage in what is quickly becoming one of the most popular events at the Center. The Carrollwood Cultural Center Sounds of Swing was formed in 2010 by Jim Burge, host of Jazz with Jim and a founding member of the Bay Area Saxophone Quartet.
The relaxed setting allowed attendees to enjoy the music, dance, and socialize in the beautiful setting of the Center’s main theater. A cash bar is available as well as snacks and light refreshments.
