Roberto was born and raised in Colombia, South America. He immigrated to Miami, Florida as a young man where he learned his craft. With over 40 years of experience, Roberto creates contemporary and one-of-a-kind fine jewelry in gold and silver. Today, Roberto and his wife, June, operate Visions of Creation Gallery in Black Mountain, where they have been residents for over 15 years.
Roberto will be visiting historic Ybor City, Tampa, with his 2012 Jewelry Collection. Roberto will also be creating custom designs while visiting Florida. When designing a commission piece, he is able to extract from his client their own ideas and translate those concepts into visual drawings. This allows the client to fully interact in the creation of their custom piece, cultivating a feeling of mutual design and accomplishment.
Singing Stone owners, Dan and Nataly Balk, are proud to have Roberto Vengoechea be a part of their 30+ artists currently on display in their gallery. The gallery offers handmade designer jewelry, eclectic contemporary craft and fine art. The Meet the Artist event will be held at The Singing Stone Gallery on 8th Ave. and 19th St in Ybor City at 1903 N. 19 St., Tampa, FL 33605.
