The Professional Association of Visual Artists (PAVA) in collaboration with the City of Gulfport will host the 2Cool Art show a juried fine art and craft show from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday February 12th 2012 inside the historic Gulfport Casino. Over 40 juried artists will show and sell their work within the Gulfport Casino located at 5500 Shore Blvd. on the waterfront in Gulfport. Parking and admission is free for this weekend event.
2012 will be the premier year for the 2Cool Art Show. For the past 23 years art patrons have enjoyed PAVA’s July Cool Art Show in St. Petersburg. An invitation from the City of Gulfport has encouraged a new show to emerge that once again showcases the artistic work of PAVA’s statewide members.
Susan Rollins Gehring, President of the Professional Association of Visual Artists (PAVA) said she is proud to be co-sponsoring this event with the City of Gulfport. Commenting on the 2Cool Art Show’s proximity to Valentine’s day she said that patrons may find a fine art gift for their loved one in a historic building that has been referred to as the “heart and hub” of Gulfport. This is also an opportunity for our winter visitor/resident to see the quality of work that PAVA has been presenting for 23 years in the summer.
