Tampa Bay Black Heritage Music Festival
January 18 - January 19, 2014
The 2014 Tampa Bay Black Heritage Music Festival will be held January 18 and 19, 10 am to 7 pm during the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday weekend at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. This event strives to increase diversity and cultural sensitivity.
The Music Festival is a free cultural event that features local and national speakers, musicians, artists, poets and craftspeople. The headliners for 2014 are “The Ohio Players” on Saturday, January 18 and R&B jazz legends Nick Colionne and Pieces of a Dream on Sunday, January 19.
EVERYONE IS INVITED TO BE A PART OF TAMPA BAY’S LARGEST “WOBBLE” LINE ON SATURDAY AND THE LARGEST “ELECTRIC SLIDE” ON SUNDAY. BOTH TO START AROUND 3 PM
