Letha Imboden
Teaching Artist/Instructor; Visual Arts: Photography
I take a very organic and natural approach to all of my sessions -or ‘simply finding inherent meaning in real moments’.
In short, I believe that the images I produce should be reminders of real moments and feelings. My job as your photographer in essence is to discover and illuminate meaning, rather than manufacture it. Life is oozing with meaning, purpose, emotion, and joy. It pulses through life like a heartbeat. My passion is searching for it and honoring it. I find the most meaning when things happen naturally! The best photos I take, then, are ultimately… organic.
I’ve been involved in the portrait industry for over 19 years and a current member of the Professional Photographers of America Association. With experience in the processing lab, in front of the camera as well as behind the camera, I know my in’s and out’s of photography on many levels. I’ve won multiple awards as well as being published in the Tampa Bay area with a showing at the Morean Arts Center. I am an art teacher by day for LD students, teach basic photography classes and work alongside the city of Largo for various events.
