Image making for me is an intrinsic part of who I am. I interpret my world in a visual manner, and over time have developed a visual vocabulary that allows me to define and communicate my intentions in a two dimensional format. I look for patterns, see rhythms, observe the layers of my environment, and give attention to the overlooked and the obscure. I feel the biggest attribute of being an artist is simply paying attention.
