The Play that Sets the Example
Tomas loves stories and Papa Grande tells them to him todas las noches! One day while his family is in Iowa picking crops, Tomas meets the Library Lady and nothing is ever the same again. Based on a true story, this bi-lingual play with music celebrates reading, imagination, and creativity.

The Play that Inspires Writing
In this interactive theatrical experience your students will learn the ingredients of a play, and see a brand new play created with their ideas right before their eyes. More than a performance, this show comes with up to eight in class workshops to get your students writing. All students are encouraged to submit their plays for FST’s 2020 Young Playwright’s Festival to be considered for a professional production in the spring.

The Winning Plays Written by Children
Wise, heartfelt, and often hilarious, this anthology of Award-winning short plays highlights the most creative and imaginative writing from Elementary school students. Performed by a cast of professional actors,  authentic stories from the minds of children contain laughter, lessons, and learning for us all.
