Student and Youth Museum Tours

Program description
Docent-led tours focus on connecting students with the Museum’s collections and special exhibitions. They inspire an understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking and viewing skills to connect with the art on view and discover how it relates to their studies and their own life experiences. Program Detail
Docent-led tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 10:00 am. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance and can include a specific exhibition or a tour of all galleries.
Tours last 45 minutes to an hour. For groups with more than 60 students, please allow for at least two hours at the Museum.

All K-12 schools who visit the Museum on a guided tour receive free admission for the students and one free chaperone for every ten students.

Cancellation Policy
Docents volunteer their time to tour your group and are not at the Museum on a regular basis. Please respect their time by providing the Museum with at least 48 hours to notify docents of a cancellation.
