An award winning national artist and teacher, Heather Rippert’s website home page carries the banner ‘She Dreams in Watercolor’ across the top. Heather is exhibiting 16 of her realistic watercolor paintings and pastels.
Known for her masterful and sensitive watercolor paintings of big skies, windswept beach landscapes, beautiful birds and dreamscapes, Heather Rippert is exhibiting her realistic, nature-based watercolors and pastels May 2 – June 28, 2019.
Rippert received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, MD and is currently on the faculty of the Dunedin Fine Art Center in Dunedin. She has work in public collections in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, along with many private collections around the country. Heather most recently exhibited at Dunedin Fine Art Center, Tampa Regional Artists and Beach House Gallery locally and The Gadsden Arts Center and Museum in Quincy, FL and the Coral Springs Museum of Art in Coral Springs, FL. She is a member of the American Watercolor Society, the Florida Watercolor Society and other local and national organizations that support the Arts.
Fine Artist Heather Rippert will be present at TECO Public Art Gallery for an opening and ‘Talk and Tour’ on Fourth Friday, May 24th from 5 – 7 pm. Heather will talk about her beautiful paintings, what inspires her to paint and why she says “She Dreams in Watercolor”. I am certain you will be inspired to look at art in new ways after spending just a short time talking with Heather. This event is Free and Open to the Public. Please join us.
