Casework | Learn The Process and Learn How to Build a Nightstand

Making a mid century cabinet with drawers will evolve your woodworking and furniture making skills to the next level using both handtools and power tools!

MAKE A MODERN TWO DRAWER NIGHTSTAND CABINET
The class is design to bring together a wide variety of techniques and building processes into one project build. It is ideal for extending woodworking knowledge established in earlier courses.

You will need to have some knowledge under your belt – how to mill lumber, make joints such as mortise and tenon, box joints, etc.

Although students will work independently, there will be plenty of learning opportunities as we highlight key learnings and unique approaches along the way.

The class will feature numerous demos as well as plenty of time for project work.
Key Learning Points
You’ll hone skills in sequencing, construction, joinery, installation, and safe tool operation and you will learn and practice:

internal case and web frames
drawer construction
door & hinge installation
frame and panel techniques
hardware selection and installation
