Classical Drawing Workshop for Teens

The Vosler Young Artists’ Studio is pleased to announce A Classical Drawing Workshop for Teens, Ages 12 to 18.   This successful Classical Drawing Workshop for Teens is a serious skills-based program.  We see students returning each summer and making spectacular gains in their knowledge and skill.  Each workshop ensures at least one finished portfolio drawing.  

Summer Workshops 2016

Tampa, Florida 

June  6-10, 2016 Session I

June 13-17, 2016 Session II

9:30 AM – 4:00 PM  One hour lunch

Upon Registration students will receive a more detailed schedule of events two weeks prior to each Session.  

Students who enroll in two weeks in Tampa will receive the second week at $250

Students may enroll in one or both weeks.  Two weeks is encouraged.  The program will change slightly each week.  
Includes, supplies & models.  *Lunch not included

Cancellation policy:  Full refund one month prior.  $100 non-refundable within 14 days of workshop.  

This workshop will introduce the young artist to a classical atelier program of instruction.  Students will learn to draw through direct observation.  

Kerry Vosler, master instructor, will do frequent demonstrations and give regular instruction at the artist’s easel.  

Monday – Start of drawing from the Charles Barque program. 
Tuesday Morning –  Resume copy of Barque and follow through to finish.
Wednesday – Concentration of drawing with emphasis on the classic order of light.
Thursday –  Concentration on anatomy and drawing of the head.
Friday – Drawing from live models to practice learned techniques.
