Reeling from a one-sided breakup with well-known artist and “older woman” D (Sonya Walger, ABC’s The Catch and Lost), anguished Karen (Otmara Marrero, Start-Up) flees Los Angeles for her ex’s idyllic lake house in the Pacific Northwest. There, she becomes entangled with the mysterious, alluring Lana (Sydney Sweeney, Sharp Objects, The Handmaid’s Tale), whom she cannot seem to resist. The two become close over the period of a few days, learning more and more about each other as time goes on. But as Karen’s fondness for the younger woman grows, so does suspicion: Are they *both* lying about certain aspects of their lives to impress the other?
Equal parts psychological thriller and sexual coming-of-age story, Clementine is a tense rumination on who to love and how to let go,“a slow burning meditation on love and a character study of women in different stages of life.” (Film Threat)
After your purchase you can watch Clementine on your desktop, tablet, smartphone, or other streaming device.
