Summer Art Camp - Abstract Expressionism (Ages 11-13)

Become inspired by Abstract Expressionist paintings at the Museum and explore a variety of materials and surprising approaches to painting, printmaking, and collage.

Join the Tampa Museum of Art this summer for Summer Art Camp. You can try different abstract expressionist painting techniques, experiment with new materials, create a comic book, and much more!

18 different week-long camps take place between June 3rd – July 12th for age groups between the ages of 6 and 17! Each of our camp themes is based on the Museum’s permanent collection and modern & contemporary exhibitions on view. We value the connections children and teens will make this summer as they tour our galleries for inspiration and create their own unique works of art.
