USF Architecture Lecture: Claire Weisz, WXY Arch & Urban Design

Please join us as we welcome Claire Weisz of WXY Architecture & Urban Design, NYC.

WXY Architecture & Urban Design has been recognized for their dedication to engaging, improving, and honoring public space. They design in conversation with the environment and work to understand a context, and plan with community in mind.

Founded by Claire Weisz, FAIA and Mark Yoes, FAIA in 1998, WXY is a think tank that builds. In 2006, they were joined by Layng Pew, AIA, and in 2011, Adam Lubinsky, PhD, AICP. We are a tight-knit, multi-disciplinary studio with backgrounds in architecture, planning, engineering, landscape architecture, as well as urban, graphic, and industrial design.

WXY has been honored with an Emerging Voice Award from the Architectural League of New York in 2011, the New York State Firm of the Year Award by the American Institute of Architects in 2016, and was recently named as one the World’s Most Innovative architecture firms in 2019 by Fast Company.
