Tampa’s oldest history society, a not-for profit organization, housed in the Historic Landmark Peter O. Knight Cottage (c.1890) in Hyde Park. Interprets Tampa history in the Gaslight Era through publications, programs, tours, lectures, workshops, and special events. The Cottage is available for rental for meetings, weddings, and social events. The Society publishes The Sunland Tribune, an annual journal of local history.
