Florida Pro Musica’s 9-voice professional ensemble, directed by Larry Kent, will perform a special concert featuring a cappella music of the season from Medieval and Renaissance Europe. The concert will include some familiar songs such as the Coventry Carol (Lully, lulla – English, 15th century), the Sussex Carol, Riu riu chiu (Spanish, 14th century), and Michael Praetorius’ lovely Es ist ein Ros’ entsprungen (Lo, how a rose).

Other works on the program include rarely performed masterpieces of the Renaissance by Victoria, Gallus and Hassler. Join us for an exceptional one-hour concert, followed by a reception to meet the musicians.
