International Artist Aims To Connect Tampa’s Community Through A Solo Exhibition
Artist Mila Lynn will be hosting an Art Show in Downtown Tampa that aims to draw a connection between the local creative community and Tampa’s affluent investors. She will exhibit 20+ pieces of art constructed from Magazine Clippings that signify the importance of individualism and cohesion. The project will debut late July at Factory 114, in Channelside. Mila is looking for participation from the community as she will have an Interactive Art piece that will be on display in Factory 114. This project involves a collaboration between Tampa based streetwear company, S.W.I.G. Clothing and Former NFL Player, Kamerion Wimbley, along with Mila herself.
One unreleased piece will go for auction, donating the funds to the Art Conservatory for Teens, which is a local nonprofit that uses the integration of Art to help youth in the Greater Tampa Area.
Mila is a traveling artist that just arrived in Tampa at the beginning of March. This event will be her farewell as she gears up to return back to London. The goal of the show is to create a night where locals of all walks of life can come together to celebrate their community and encourage each other to keep striving towards their passions. The event will host LIVE music from a selection of Tampa-based musicians, an Open Bar, and Mila’s Artwork on display for purchase.
