Tampa Bay’s annual festival of trio, duo, and solo improv comedy
The Countdown Improv Festival is Tampa Bay’s annual celebration of improv comedy, and the world’s only improv festival focusing exclusively on trio, duo, and solo performers.
More than 85 comedians from all across the country will converge on Ybor City for a weekend’s worth of genre-defying comedy shows, immersive improv workshops, and lots of laughter. Featuring comedians from New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Texas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, and beyond, performing shows ranging from solo improvised musicals to impromptu blockbuster movies to off-the-cuff soap operas, the Countdown Improv Festival delights and entertains while blurring the lines between comedy, theatre, and performance art.
General admission tickets are available at the door and online. Nightly passes cost $30 per night. A three-night weekend pass costs $50. Admission to the festival’s special Saturday night only second stage, featuring a curated selection of experimental, boundary-pushing improv comedy, costs $20.
