Students will learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel.
At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, you are invited to learn a new skill, revisit an old one, or simply “do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do.”
Through art, ceramics, dance, music, and theatre you will gain a new appreciation for the arts – perhaps even discover a talent you never knew you had. Regardless of the reason, there is always something new and exciting to learn at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.
Tuition costs vary by class. Visit http://www.carrollwoodcenter.org/classes/classes-all/ and select the class you are interested in for tuition and materials fees.
Tuition $120 member / $140 non-member
Please Note: Working with the wheel requires moderate upper body strength, using shoulders, arms, and hands to mold and shape clay.
