Playwriting 101 – Online Workshop

Learn the basics of playwriting, including developing character, scene development, story arc, and how to show a scene without telling a scene.

Saturday, October 17, 2020, 10 am – 12 pm

This workshop is for anyone aged 15 and up. Class size is limited to ten.

This workshop will be conducted via Zoom, which requires a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone, and a high speed internet connection. There is no cost to use Zoom.
Payment for this workshop must be submitted online no later than 10/16. Upon receipt of payment, we will email you a link to join the Zoom session. Please be sure to include your email address when making payment.

Instructor: Marc S. Sanders

Marc S. Sanders has been an active member of Carrollwood Players since 1993. He has participated in over 30 productions with the theatre from performing on stage, to directing, producing, stage managing and playwriting. Marc served on the CWP Board for 5 years, and has chaired various committees including the Playreading Committee as well as participated in the director selection committee. He helped pioneer the theatre’s renowned One Act Festival which has been going strong for over 20 years. Marc is proud to continue on with the theatre’s legacy of stage performance and artistic craft.
