Kerry Vosler is a passionate woman painter who has spent the last 26 years perfecting her skills of observation and learning her craft. She works in the mediums of charcoal, red chalk, pastel and oil. Kerry prefers working from life whether it is a portrait, figure or on location in the landscape. She is a gifted and seasoned teacher who shares her understanding of drawing and painting techniques with her students. Kerry teaches regular figure, portrait and landscape classes and national workshops.
In July of 2011 Kerry and her husband, Jim, founded the Vosler Young Artists’ Classical Atelier for ages 12 to 18. Kerry currently holds positions as the Florida State Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America and is a board member of the Southern Atelier Classical Art School in Sarasota. Kerry continues to paint commissioned portraits and paint the American Spanish Flamenco Series from life in her Tampa Studio in the Old Santaella Cigar Factory. She welcomes visitors to her studio gallery.
